Greensburg —
Luella Marie Stevens, 91, a longtime New Salem resident, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 in New Castle.
She was born May 1, 1921 in Rush County to the late Elmer and Mae (Linville) Kile.
Luella married Lloyd Stevens Jan. 11, 1938 and he preceded her in death Dec. 12, 2010.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star society.
She leaves behind a son, Larry Marlin (Donna) Stevens of Rushville; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Lloyd, Luella was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Stevens, and a sister, Hazel Kile.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville.
Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Fisher-Richland Cemetery following the service.
