James Davidson, 66

Greensburg — James Davidson, 66, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday Jan. 30, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 12, 1946 the son of James and Marjorie (Jenkins) Davidson in Milan.

He worked at Delta Faucet and was a Welder for American Lifts for 35 years. He was a member of the First Church of God, Past Master of Greensburg Masonic Lodge #36, was a member of Bartmeas Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and Honorary Kentucky Colonel, Eagles Aerie #927 Greensburg, and a member of the Shrine Club of Columbus.

He married Carroll Abbott Nov. 13, 1965 in Greensburg, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter: Julie Ann (Todd) Lautenschlager of Indianapolis, and one son: Kevin James (Carla) Davidson of Greensburg, five sisters: Linda Colson of Greensburg, Judy (George) Volz of Milan, Shirley (Toby) Berry of Morris Hill, Marlene (Melvin) Honeycutt of Elrod, and Susie (Richard) Van Dyke of Greensburg, seven brothers: Pat (Deb) Lazenby of Westport, Raymond (Janet) Jenkins of Tenn., Larry Davidson of Morris Hill, David (Pam) Davidson of Versailles, William Davidson of Morris Hill, Tim (Kathy) Davidson of Osgood, and Greg (Tammy) Davidson of Milan.

He is also survived by one grandson, Tyler Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Jerry Davidson.

Friends may call at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 1, from 4 until 8 p.m.

A Masonic service will be held at 3:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Saturday Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in the South Park Cemetery.
