Sandcreek —
Sandcreek Baptist Church is planning a vacation Bible school Oct. 15 to 19.
The Bible school will be taking place over Fall Break. Hazel Buell, deacon, said a meal is planned to begin at 5:30 until 8 p.m. the days of the school. This year’s theme is “Adventure in Sonrise National Park,” which will be covering lessons about Jesus. Music and crafts are planned as part of the lessons. The camp is for children ages three years to grade six.
Parents do not need to preregister, and only need to attend the first Monday.
“Bring your kids and the neighbor kids. Everybody is welcome,” said Buell.
This year is the first year the Bible school is planned to take place at night. Buell said the school has taken place during the weekend in the past.
Sandcreek Baptist Church is located at 3177 E Co Rd 300 S. Buell said the church is approximately three and a half miles south-east of Greensburg, on east 421. The church can be contacted at 812-663-3009.
