Greensburg —
The Greensburg - Decatur County Public Library is excited to announce a Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement with the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus, Indiana.
This agreement will provide new services to those who travel between Greensburg and Columbus for work or school or live between the two cities.
If you hold a Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library card, you may take that card and a current photo ID to the Bartholomew County Public Library to apply for one of their library cards. The same will be true for those who hold a Bartholomew County card. They will be able to apply for a Greensburg card with proper ID.
Please note: This is not the same as an Evergreen Indiana card.
You must use your Bartholomew County card at the Bartholomew County Public Library. Items cannot be requested and transferred from either library. They must be checked out and returned at the library that owns the materials.
All fines, fees and other charges accrued at the library will be payable only at the library they are affiliated with.
This is an exciting collaboration between our libraries and will provide a necessary service to many of our community members. For more information, feel free to contact the Library.
For more information, call (812) 663-2826 or visit www.greensburglibrary.org.
