Greensburg —
Greensburg Elementary School (GES) had 366 projects with four sections; earth and space, physical science, co-physical science, life science, as well as an overall champion in the third grade in Monday’s science fair program.
Science specialist, Linda Kramer, said there were an immense amount of entries for physical science, and only two entries from the fifth grade in earth and space, which led to creating the co-physical section. According to Kramer, the 21 judges were having a hard time deciding on grand champions.
“The kids did excellent,” said Kramer. “They gained a lot of valuable research; they did an awesome job presenting. Our judges were impressed.”
The champions are as follows:
3rd Grade Overall Champion- Kamian Taylor.
4th Grade Earth and Space Science Champion- Avery Gould; 4th Grade Life Science Champion- Shannon Pake; 4th Grade Physical Science Champion- Devin Winkler.
5th Grade Co-Physical Science Champion- Ryan Johnson; 5th Grade Co-Physical Science Champion- Cole Nobbe; 5th Grade Life Science Champion- Avery Moore.
