War on religion is underway
Dear Editor,
There have been some reports in the news media lately that the Obama administration claims the Catholic church has declared war on women's health by objecting to paying for insurance coverage of things such as birth control pills, sterilization and abortive drugs like RU486. -
Meals on Wheels offers thanks
Dear Editor,
This last year has been a very gratifying one for Greensburg Meals on Wheels.
We continue to grow and increase the number of people we are able to serve. -
Every day should be Earth Day
Dear Editor:
Earth day is the day we all look at ways we can reduce our carbon footprint. Twenty percent of all greenhouse gases come from automobiles, so it makes sense to start there. -
Earth Day is every day for Hoosier farmers

It has been estimated that one billion people around the globe will, in some way, observe Earth Day April 22, 2012. -
State needs more transparency, accountability

For county officials, all local units of government and taxpayers, the announcement on April 5 by the State of Indiana that a software mapping error resulted in more than $206 million being diverted to the state general fund instead of local units of government was a financial relief. -
We need a strong conservative

Living in fear
