Greensburg —
The Greensburg Optimist Club selected South Decatur Senior Danielle Wenning as its Youth of the Month for November.
She is the daughter of Danny and Tami Wenning and is ranked second in her class with a GPA of 3.958. Wenning is a member of the two-time Spell Bowl State Finalist team and a member of the two-time Mid-Hoosier Conference Academic Super Bowl Team. She is also a member of the National Honor society, the South Decatur Drama Department and the South Decatur Girls Golf Team. She participates at South Decatur as a Peer Mentor, president of the Key Club, editor of the Yearbook and as part of the school newspaper staff. She also took part in the Decatur County Youth Forum sponsored by the Optimist Club.
Wenning plans to attend DePauw University or Hanover University but is undecided as to her major.
