GREENSBURG - In September, the students and staff at Greensburg Elementary School accepted RachelÕs Challenge to change the world through our kind deeds.
Rachel's Challenge is a program that is traveling all over the US, spreading the message that each and every one of us, children and adults alike, have the power to make a positive impact on all those around us. The staff and students have been writing kind deeds that they or someone else has done, and adding them onto a kindness chain that is on display through our classrooms and hallways. For the months of December and January, our school is teaming up with the Greensburg Daily News to show our community the kind actions that our students are doing every day. Each week, all completed kindness links will be put in a drawing. Three links will be pulled out, and the person that did the good deed will have their name, picture, and kind action put in the newspaper. It only takes one person and one caring deed to make a world of change! Stay tuned to the GDN for our good deed award winners.
