Greensburg —
Dan and Deanna Wenning, of Greensburg, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Wenning, to Brett Matthews, son of Allen and Lisa Matthews, of Decatur County.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of South Decatur High School and a 2010 graduate of Indiana State University, Terre Haute.
She is presently employed as a second grade teacher at Greensburg Elementary School.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Southridge High School in Huntingburg and a 2009 graduate of Indiana State University, Terre Haute.
He is presently employed as a teacher at Batesville Intermediate School.
The wedding will begin at 2:30 p.m. March 23, 2013 at Waynesburg Christian Church.
Joshua Burnett will conduct the ceremony.
A reception for family and friends will follow at St. John the Evangelist in Enochsburg.
