Heather Hirt, daughter of Mark and Carol Hirt, Greensburg, is engaged to be married to Scott Koors, son of Mike and Ann Koors, Greensburg.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and a 2008 graduate of Purdue University with a BachelorÕs Degree of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Science. She went on to graduate in 2010 from the University of Mississippi with a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Heather is currently employed as a Speech-Language pathologist at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of North Decatur High School. Scott has been employed at Smith Implements in Greensburg for eight years as a service technician. He owns a small farm on which the couple will reside over the county line in Milroy.
The wedding has been set for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 18, 2012 at St. MaryÕs Catholic Church in Greensburg.
Fr. John Meyer will officiate.
