Clarksburg —
The Clarksburg Covenant Church is proud to announce the coming of its fourth annual “A Walk Through Bethlehem” set for Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1.
The village this year will feature live animals and characters in period dress including Roman soldiers, the wise men, shepherds, angels and more.
Walk through the open air market as vendors call out, attempting to sell their wares.
Watch the blacksmith as he pounds at his metal on the anvil.
New this year is the vineyard, children’s corner, apothecary and much more.
The entire event is free to the public as our gift to the community.
Guests will also enjoy free hot chocolate and homemade cookies, and walk-throughs and drive-throughs are both welcome.
Walk-through tours take place every half hour.
Friday night will feature “No Room for a King” the story of the innkeeper.
Saturday will be “It’s a Boy,” the different reactions of the townspeople to the birth of the Christ Child.
The program runs from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
This has become a cherished family friendly event for the community and beyond bringing guests from as far as Indianapolis and Greenfield.
