Greensburg —
Preregistration is still available for parents to send their kids to Bible School over fall break.
From 8 a.m. to noon, Oct. 8 to 12, the Community Church of Greensburg will host Vacation Bible School.
The Bible school is aimed at children between ages three and grade five. This year’s theme, which follows the journeys of Paul the Apostle, is “Jump! Put faith in motion.”
Rachel Winters, children’s director, said all the activities planned for the children will follow the Jump! theme, and also the theme of the story being told.
For example, during the story of Paul on the Road to Damascus, when he was blinded by a flash of light, the kids will make light switch covers.
“With the new extended fall break at area schools, we thought it a great opportunity to offer something for families in the community,” Winters said.
Music, skits, games, crafts and snacks are also planned for the Bible school.
For more information about registering, call 662-8331, or register at www.icommunitychurch.com. Parents are also welcome to register at the church. The church opens at 7:45 a.m.
