Greensburg —
With the holiday season upon us, what is so often a joyful time for many may be painful for others, particularly in the case of the loss of a loved one.
In response to this issue, Greensburg United Methodist Church will host a “Blue Christmas” service at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 in the church chapel.
Light refreshments will be available after the service, in the commons.
The congregation is welcoming those with heavy hearts to join them.
Additionally, the church will host a Christmas Eve candlelight service from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. The event will feature Communion in the chapel, light refreshments in the commons and Christmas carols played on organ and piano in the sanctuary.
A worship service begins at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Greensburg United Methodist Church is located at 301 North Broadway.
