Contributed article - Decatur County Memorial Hospital has announced details regarding two new physicians that will be joining the staff and expanding the physician base at the Hospital’s Primary Care and its Westport Clinic. Dr. Jami Rayles and Dr. Cody Wagner will both join the medical staff at Primary Care which now includes Dr. Victoria Katona, Kathy Simon, FNP and Tracy Ruble, CFNP.
Dr. Mary McCullough, Board Member and Chief of Staff at DCMH stated, "Throughout our recruitment efforts we have found Drs. Rayles and Wagner to be two fine individuals. They should complement our existing staff and bring a new dimension to the facility and our area. I’m certain they’ll enjoy our community and appreciate practicing in our expanded facilities as I have."
McCullough referenced the fact that the Hospital’s Women’s Center for Life opened just over one year ago and focuses on women’s health. The facility offers the latest in birthing units and provides an additional level of comfort for new mothers and their families.
Bill Alloy, President and CEO of Decatur County Memorial Hospital expressed the sentiment of the Administration at DCMH, "Not only are they young physicians with excellent backgrounds, but they expect to be a part of the community in every sense of the word. That is important to a facility like ours. With their interests and OB privileges, they will also help to serve the community’s younger population and reinforce our commitment to women’s services."
Dr. Jami Rayles is a native of Northern Indiana. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University and her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She has conducted her residency in family medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She enjoys caring for the whole family and her special interests in medicine include women’s and children’s health and obstetrical care. Jami and her husband Brack have one son, Gibson. Her family looks forward to becoming part of the Greensburg community. Outside of medicine, her interests include gardening and cooking.

Dr. Wagner and his family are excited about the opportunity to settle in Decatur County and are looking forward to becoming active members of the community.
The physicians will begin practicing in August and are being openly welcomed by their colleagues. Dr. Jeffrey Hatcher stated, "We are extremely pleased that these family physicians will be joining Primary Care and the fact that both will have obstetric privileges at DCMH is exciting."
The new physicians will begin their practice in August and an official welcoming for Drs. Wagner and Rayles will be held in the coming weeks. Appointments with the physicians may be made after July 1 by calling 662-0588.
