Greensburg —
Two local students recently received scholarships from Decatur County Farm Bureau.
This year's recipients included Kyle Scudder, who will be attending Vincennes University in the fall, and Morgan Cox who's heading to Purdue at nearly the same time.
According to a press release, eligibility for the scholarship hinges on certain criteria.
Students must be at least 17-years-old and come from a family who has been an Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. member for no less than two years prior to applying. The students must also pursue an agribusiness or agriculture degree during their secondary education.
Ken Ewing presented a $500 scholarship to Kyle Scudder recently. Morgan Cox received her scholarship, also in the amount of $500, from Justin Shireman.
Representatives of Decatur County Farm Bureau wished the students the best of luck in the future and congratulated them on their accomplishment.
