Lena M. Bowles, 68

Lena M. Bowles, 68 of Laurel, Indiana passed away on July 25, 2007 at the Rush Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 27, 1938 in Addyston, Ohio to Albert Poling and Anna (Tomlin) Poling. She married Allen Bowles on March 12, 1954 and preceded her in death on July 6, 1996.

She has lived outside Laurel for most of her life. She worked at Delta Faucet in Greensburg for 23 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #1160 of Connersville and the Amvets Club in Connersville.

She is survived by one son, Allen K. “Keith” (Donna) Bowles, Jr. of Dalton, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Kay (Rick) Deamron of Greensburg and Roberta Ann “Robin” (Greg) Gilbert of Laurel; three brothers, Albert Poling Jr. of Roy, Utah, Robert (Alberta) Poling of Nancy, Ky. and Donald (Debbie) Poling of Princeton; three granddaughters; two grandsons; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Bowles; sister, Alberta Louise Poling and brother, Richard Poling.

Visitation services will be on Sunday, July 29 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Moster Mortuary. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 30 at 1 p.m. at the mortuary with Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Laurel North Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
