Greensburg — Shirley (Hornsby) and David Humphrey, 2809 Winterway Drive, Shelbyville, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Humphreys hosted a dinner at Kopper Kettle Restaurant for a gathering of family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey were united in marriage June 3, 1962, at Shelbyville Baptist Temple by Dr. W.L. Smith.

Mrs. Humphrey is the daughter of Mrs. Opal Hornsby Gardner, Elgin, Ill., and the late Mr. Paul Hornsby, Milroy.

Mr. Humphrey is the son of the late Louise and Harold Humphrey, Rush County.

Shirley graduated from Milroy High School, Milroy, and from Indiana Central Business College. She is presently a partner with a manufacturer's representative company.

David graduated from Clarksburg High School, Clarksburg.

He retired from Ford Motor Company, Indianapolis, and has been pursuing an education in Theology, having recently received his Master of Theology Degree from Southern Indiana Baptist College. He is currently a volunteer chaplain for hospitals and homes.
