Brian and Lauren (Nobbe) McReynolds


Brian and Lauren (Nobbe) McReynolds were united in marriage Saturday, July 11 at St. Mary’s Church in Greensburg. The double ring ceremony was performed by Monsignor Harold Kneuven.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Kathleen Nobbe, Greensburg. The groom is the son of Jim and Karen McReynolds also of Greensburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Timothy Nobbe.

Ashley Nobbe, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jill Denney, Meredith Acra and Nyoka Nobbe, sisters and sister-in-law of the bride; Jennifer Harter, sister of the groom; Jody Westerfeld, Lindsay Hewitt, Samantha O’Mara, Sarah Dickman, and Willa Scudder, friends of the bride. Junior Bridesmaids included Hannah Denney and Ellie Acra, nieces of the bride. The Flower Girl was Lydia Acra, niece and godchild of the bride. All wore watermelon floor length gowns. The flower girl wore a princess style dress.

Justin McReynolds, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Kyle Nobbe, brother of the bride; Adam Middendorf, Blake O’Mara, Brian Meyer, Grady Bass, Phil Collins, Ryan Morton, Shawn Seitz, and Tony Saylor, all friends of the groom. Junior Groomsmen included Jacob Denney, Trey Nobbe, nephews of the bride; Sean Roberts and Austin Redd, nephews of the groom. Ring Bearer was Lance Nobbe, nephew of the bride. Ushers included Kirk Acra, Todd Denney, brothers-in-law of the bride; Kyle Harter, brothers-in-law to the groom; and Scott Saylor, friend of the couple.

Readings were performed by Tim Nobbe, father of the bride; Patricia Ewing, aunt and godmother of the bride; and Amanda Perdue, cousin of the bride. Hayley Schwering was the soloist of the ceremony and was accompanied by Kristy Lowe on the piano. Programs were passed out by friends of the bride, Katie Dauch, Jessica Mourey, Chelsea Redington and Tiffany Oiler. Rose petals were passed to guests by Lillie Perdue, Avery Bigham and Peytan Ewing, all second cousins of the bride.

The reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus in Batesville.

The couple is residing in Oaklandon in Lawrence Township follwing a honeymoon to Aruba.

Brian is a 2000 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and a 2009 graduate of ITT Tech with an associate’s degree in Computer Networking. He is employed with AME Group in Indianapolis. Lauren is a 2003 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and a 2007 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Selling and Sales Management. She completed her license in teaching in February 2009 through Saint Mary of the Woods. Lauren is employed with Lawrence Township Schools at Mary Castle Elementary in Indianapolis.
