Jenny and Pete Schneider

Monsignor Harold Kneuven performed the marriage ceremony of Jenny Schneider and Pete Schneider, both of Indianapolis on Saturday, June 20, 2009. The double ring rites took place at St. John’s Catholic Church in Enochsburg. The groom’s great-uncle, Rev. Ambrose Schneider, was pastor here for many years.

The bride is the daughter of Betty Schneider and the late Lawrence Schneider, Greensburg. Phil and Charlotte Schneider, Huntingburg, Ind. are the parents of the groom.

Carrie Schembri sang for the ceremony accompanied by a violin.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, David Schneider.

Shelly Laudick, sister of the bride, and Julie Graham, friend of the bride, were honor attendants for the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Hellmich, Amy Theobald and Katie Kieman, friends of the bride, and also Ann and Natalie Schneider, sisters of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Lauren Laudick, niece and god-child of the bride. All wore teal blue attire.

The bridegroom chose his brothers, John and Mike Schneider as best men. Groomsmen were Brian Heichelbech, Andy Drake, Steve Thacker and Scott Berger, friends of the bridegroom, and Ron Schneider, brother of the bride. Kurt and Matthew Schneider, nephews of the bride, seated the guests. Josh Schneider, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer and Makenna Drake, flower girl, friend of groom. Passing out programs and gifts were Adalyn and Brayden Laudick, Ethan and Sarah Schneider, nieces and nephews of the bride.

The reception followed at Walhill Farm in Batesville. Also, a rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s family was at Walhill the previous evening. Both were catered by Li’l Charlie’s in Batesville.

The couple is residing in Indianapolis after a honeymoon in Costa Rica.

The bride received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and is employed by Ingersoll Rand. Mr. Schneider received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is employed by Hill-Rom in Batesville.
