Greensburg — Gary and Ruth (Scheottmer) Atchley were joined in marriage at Mt. Aerie Baptist Church on Aug. 14, 1971.

They have three children; Lori (Scott) Helms: Greensburg of Greensburg, Mark Atchley and Lisa (Greg) McNealy, both of Westport. In celebration of the event, their children will be hosting a 40th anniversary open house to be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 14 at Mt. Aerie Baptist Church, 5079 W. County Road 700 South.
