Mr. and Mrs. John Kolkmeier of Waldron will celebrate their 40th wedding
anniversary April 29, 2012.
Their children invite family and friends to help celebrate this special day with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at Waldron Jr./Sr. High School Cafetorium.
John Kolkmeier and the former Martha Ann Hatton were married April 2, 1972 at Lewis Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Coates.
John worked at the Indianapolis International Airport as an air traffic
controller and retired in 2004 after 37 years of service. He is also the
owner of Kolkmeier Bros. Feed and Grain.
Martha is the assistant athletic director at Waldron Jr./Sr. High School. Ê
They are the parents of Jamie (Jackie) Kolkmeier of Corydon, Andrea Knarr
of Shelbyville, Anita (Tony) Samuel of Indianapolis, Jason (Mary)
Kolkmeier of Shelbyville, Annette (Adam) Wentzel of Greensburg and J.D.
Kolkmeier of Waldron.
The couple has nine grandchildren.
