Greensburg —
Frank and Mary Alice Smith were joined in marriage at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Pleasant View on Aug. 26, 1951 by Rev. Archer Shirley.
Frank, having served in the United States Air Force upon graduation, returned to marry Mary Alice Murnan and work the family farm. They raised five children; Sheryl Ault of St. Paul, Donn Franklin (deceased), Beverly Knecht of Greensburg, Janice Smith of Sanford, Mich. and Scott Smith of St. Paul. They have six grandchildren; Daniel Ault, Bethany Sweet, Landon Knecht, Mason, Micah and Madison Smith. They also have two great-grandchildren; Anna Grace and Angus Ault.
Family and friends are invited to attend an open house in their honor to be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 at the First Baptist Church on W. Washington St. in Greensburg. Your presence is their gift.
