Greensburg — Bill and Elaine (Souders) Biles of Conover, N.C., formerly of Greensburg, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

They were married July 14, 1962 at First Methodist Church in Greensburg, Rev. Grester Kemp. Bill is a retired embalmer, having graduated from the Cincinnati College of Embalming.

Elaine worked as an operating room nurse in Ohio, Indiana and North Carolina, after graduating from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati.

Their two sons are Steve (Lisa), of Wrentham, Mass. and Jim (Kathy) of Greensburg. They also have two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Also attending the celebration was the flower girl at the wedding, the brideÕs niece, Barbara Braun and her husband Jack, of Florida.
